IIT-Delhi, Bombay and Kanpur to offer exceptional opportunities to Ladakh students
New Delhi: The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh has come up with a unique opportunity for the students residing in Ladakh. Students who are from Ladakh will be provided with internships and a sponsored MTech Program by the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh in collaboration with the well-reputed colleges including Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur.
The candidates who are Ladakh resident and are interested in applying for the internship opportunities and MTech program can start registering on the official website iitd.ac.in.
The candidates can also check the official website to find out further details about the opportunities being provided. The last date of application for the opportunities is June 30, 2022. The candidates from Ladakh should complete their registration by this date, as stated by the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh.
The IIT Delhi, Bombay and Kanpur are providing certain interesting opportunities for internships and MTech. There is a short-term internship for undergraduate students which is for a duration of one and a half months to 2 months. Also, there is a long-term internship provided to undergraduate students for a period of six months with a sponsored MTech program.

Ladakh candidates should note that there are certain seats available for each opportunity. There are a total of 30 seats which are available for short term internships. And, there are a total of 15 seats available for long-term internships and 12 seats available for the MTech program.
The selection for short term internship will be based on applications and for the long-term it will be both application as well as an interview which will be conducted online.
A scholarship of Rs.15000, Rs.50000 and Rs.25,000 for short-term, long-term internships respectively. The students selected for the M. Tech programmes would be paid a scholarship of Rs 25,000 per month.
